Since opening in 2023, BLOK has gone from strength to strength, becoming a place for the Pontyclun community to come together and a destination for guests travelling from across the UK. To receive international recognition just two years into our journey is a proud moment for everyone involved.

Led by our head chef and kitchen team, our menu celebrates exceptional ingredients, bringing together the best seasonal produce available across South Wales. From precise preparation to the finishing touches on every plate, care and attention underpin everything we serve.

BLOK has become an integral part of the Lanelay Hall Hotel & Spa experience - from dinner, celebrating a special occasion or making a night of it with an overnight stay.

This recognition reflects the dedication of our entire team, both in the kitchen and across the hotel. Their creativity, commitment and warm hospitality have helped shape BLOK into the restaurant it is today.
